To the 2010 Update of the Florida Chartbook
This 2010 update shows a comprehensive picture of the quality of healthcare received by children and youth in Florida, in the context of their needs, and overall health status. The chapter on obesity presents information on the rates of overweight and obesity, and other factors that put children and youth at risk for obesity and importantly, qualitative information from focus groups on the impact and response to the epidemic. We hope this chartbook will be a significant resource for community stakeholders interested in addressing childhood obesity and in promoting children's health by improving the quality of healthcare received by children and adolescents in Florida.
